Groups of the Society
The Society has a number of groups, including Local Centres and Special Interest Groups.
There are eight Special Interest Groups as follows:
Local Centres
Like the Society itself, Local Centres are particularly dependent on the active participation of members. Please contact your nearest Local Centre secretary (address available on individual group page) to express your interest. Principal locations for meetings and other activities arranged by Local Centres are:
- Scottish Centre - Edinburgh
- Welsh Centre - Cardiff
- North East Centre - Durham
- North West Centre - Manchester
- East Midlands Centre - Loughborough, Nottingham
- West Midlands Centre - Birmingham
- East Anglia Centre - Norwich
- South West Centre - Exeter, Plymouth
The Society encourages the formation of new Local Centres, especially for those members who cannot often travel to London or the existing Centres.
