National Meetings
National meetings are the main scientific meetings of the Society.
They are normally held in London, on the third Wednesday of the month from October through June.
They are usually centred around a particular topic or theme. -
Local Centre Meetings
There are several local centres around the country who organise monthly meetings during the evenings aimed at those who are unable to attend the main meetings in London. Speakers present talks on a variety of topics, and the meetings provide an opportunity for members to meet each other socially.
Specialist Interest Group Meetings
Specialist group meetings are held from time to time, primarily concentrating on a particular research topic; they are designed to appeal to members actively involved in research.
