RMetS Student Conference

9 - 12 July 2012 at University of Leeds

The annual Student Conference provides an excellent opportunity for PhD students to present their work in a friendly environment. There will be poster sessions as well as sessions for oral presentations.

There will be a conference dinner, icebreaker activities and pub quiz, so that you can get to know your fellow PhD students and young scientists. This year, a group of invited speakers will give keynote lectures, and people working in the field of Meteorology will talk about their careers. There will also be a chance for a discussion on current issues and to share your opinions with other delegates. We are currently taking abstracts from Masters and PhD students working in fields related to meteorology, as well as Met Office young scientists.
