RMetS RSS Feeds

What is RSS? rss

RSS is an easy way for you to keep track of the latest news from selected sites in one convenient place.

RSS - which stands for Rich Site Summary or Really Simple Syndication - allows you to see the latest headlines from these sites and to then be able to click directly through to the articles that you want to read.

Often found on news-rich sites such as the BBC site and Wired, we have now introduced an RSS feed on the RMetS site.

The RMetS feed is linked to news and events. Soon after new events and certain news items are published on the RMetS website, they are picked up and made available as an RSS feed. With the right software you can then see the news without having to browse to the website.

What Software do I need?

To subscribe to the RMetS RSS feed you will need an application called a reader, or sometimes known as an aggregator. There are many available - see the list below.

We list this software as examples and we do not recommend any particular application. They are available to download at your own risk.

Note that the published feed shows titles only. Just click on the lnks to see the original articles.
