Global Temperature Change

The global temperature of our climate is changing when compared against the 30-year average of 1961 to 1990 (a standard used internationally for examining what are called climate temperature anomalies). This animation shows the climate anomalies produced from the Hadley Centre climate model, using the a mid-range emissions scenario (A1B) and for the time period 1870 to 2100, projected onto the earth's globe.

The colours represent the temperature changes with reference to the 30 year average in degrees C.
