Melting of the Greenland Ice Sheet
This animation shows the output from a Greenland Ice Sheet model coupled to the Hadley Centre's climate model. Each year shows the model simulation of one full year of melting as a result of warming from 4 x C02. The ice sheet thickness is colour coded from the highest in deep red at 3500m to the lowest in dark blue at 0m. Year 1 refers to present day.
