Wirksworth : Wettest May since 1979: 23 rain days was the most since 1969
Mickleover: Most rain days in May on my records
Ely: Second-wettest May in 36 years
Pitsford Hall: The first month to see above average rainfall since September 2005
Derby: Warmest early May Day on record (1952): no max reached 20C after 12th
