OBSERVERS' NOTES
Bablake: The wettest June since before 1870
Laughton: The most rainfall ever recorded in one month at this station
Louth: What a wet month. 24th was the wettest day in June since 1982
Derby: Solar halo widely seen on 19th in Derby/Burton area
Mickleover: No rainfall until 13th then became wettest June on my record
Ely: If this sort of weather is global warming I think I'd prefer an Ice Age
Mountsorrel: Temperatures above average due to warm nights
Wirksworth: The wettest June on record
Middleton: Foggiest June on record. Gale on 25th was first in June since 1997
Pitsford Hall: Wettest June on record in Northampton
Desford: 15th Funnel cloud seen (plenty of rotation) from lowering Cb cloud 1500GMT
Lowdham: Highest June rainfall on record in Nottingham area (1867)
