RMetS Amateur Meteorologists' Conference 2016 Information

Saturday 10 September 2016 - Sunday 11 September 2016

University of Reading Whiteknights Reading Berkshire

The Royal Meteorological Society’s Amateur Meteorologists’ Conference will be held on the 10th and 11th September 2016 in the Meadows Suite at the University of Reading.  The Conference aims to look at how the weather impacts our lives – from weather observing and photography, to sharing our passion of meteorology with others.

Climatological Observers Link (COL), Tornado and Storm Research Organisation (TORRO) and the Royal Photographic Society (RPS) are among the groups that are supporting the conference this year.  We are expecting approximately 100 attendees over the two days and an interesting programme is planned to include talks and an exhibition.  The Conference is open to all with an interest in weather and climate, including observing and photographing the weather.

Registration is now open, so don't miss out and book your place today.

During the conference, two sessions will a focus on observations and instruments; if you have your own weather station, we would be grateful if you could complete this short survey.
