Concessions, Direct Debits and Reciprocal Agreements
Payment by Direct Debit may be made annually, half-yearly or quarterly. If you opt for half-yearly or quarterly payments, the first instalment will be taken on or immediately after 1st January. A subsequent payment will be taken in July for those paying half-yearly, and remaining quarterly payments will be taken in April, July and October. Please note that payment by Direct Debit is available to members with UK bank accounts only.
If you are an existing Direct Debit payer who wishes to continue to pay by their existing agreement you do not need to do anything. If you wish to set up a new Direct Debit, or are an existing Direct Debit payer who wishes to make amendments to their existing agreement, please download and complete a new Direct Debit mandate and return either by post or email to the Membership Secretary.
Please note that all requests to pay by Direct Debit or changes need to be received by 14th December at the latest. Any changes received after that date will be unable to be processed to be effective for next year’s renewal.
Those who have been members of the Society for 20 years or more and are either; (a) aged 65 or over or (b) are over 60 years old and retired, may apply for a 50% discount.
