2020 marks the centenary of the appointment of former RMetS President Sir Napier Shaw as the first Professor of Meteorology in the UK. This meeting celebrated the long and successful history of Meteorology and Atmospheric Science in the UK featuring talks with a historical slant by leading current and former scientists from Imperial College.
