SPEAKER: John Law, British Antarctic Survey.
BIOGRAPHY: John Law is a graduate of the University of East Anglia. He’s worked for Weatherquest on the UEA campus and since then has spent over 3 years with Met Service New Zealand, during which time amongst other roles he provided forecasts for national TV and radio. John has recently joined the BAS and is preparing to make an 18 month trip to Antarctica as a meteorological observer.
This meeting is part of the Royal Meteorological Society Meetings programme, open to all, from expert to enthusiast, for topical discussions on the latest advances in weather and climate. Non members are welcome to attend these meetings.
