

Interpreting data to hunt the Aurora

What was once a hobby turned into a passion now 20 years later, putting Norfolk on the map for aurora hunting. In this talk James will cover the basic knowledge of reading and the interpretation of the solar wind and how it is used to predict aurora. He will also talk about some basic camera settings he uses to take these stunning photos.

A mechanic by day but a photographer by night. James’ main focus is taking impressive photos of the Aurora across the UK. James also runs the Aurora UK Facebook group and brings attention to Aurora events visible across the region.
