

RMetS Insurance Special Interest Group 2022 Journal Paper Showcase
LOCATION
This session will be an overview of some of the exciting new research that has come out of the RMetS journals in 2022. Speakers will provide a 10 minute introduction to their paper highlighting the industry applications. There will be time for 5 mins of questions after each talk.
Following this there will be a half hour pannel discussion with professionals working in the insurance sector around the themes:
• How do you think the science discussed could be used in the insurance sector?
• What could be the barriers to implementing these scientific findings within an insurance company?
• What big topics would you like to see academics thinking about in the future?
