ABSTRACT | Earth orbit offers a unique vantage point from which to study and monitor the phenomenon of lightning. In this talk, Dr. Labrador will give a historical perspective on the study and monitoring of lightning from space, as well as a glimpse into future lightning detection capabilities from orbit.
