SPEAKER | Prof Tim Burt

ABSTRACT | In this talk, Tim Burt reviews the Durham weather and climate record from the start of the continuous daily record in 1850. He will take the opportunity to update previous presentations and to include new analyses, for example in relation to the use atmospheric circulation indices. Tim has run the Durham Observatory meteorological station since 1999 and retires from the University this summer.

This meeting will take place in the Williamson Library.
