2020 membership renewals now open

Renew your RMetS membership today...

RMetS
21 November 2019

Your Society membership runs from 1st January to 31st December each year, therefore it is the time of year to renew your membership for 2020. If you have chosen to pay by Direct Debit, we will let you know when we will be taking payment, but your membership will automatically renew.

Membership renewal notices

If we have your email address, we will send out your renewal notice by email between now and Christmas, so do check your inbox, including your junk folder. Otherwise, we will send your renewal notice in the post.

Your renewal notice will contain information about your 2020 membership subscriptions and any journal or accreditation fees; however, you are still able to easily renew online, even without receiving your renewals notice. Please contact the membership secretary if you wish to change your subscription or journal options.

How to renew your membership

The easiest and quickest way to renew your membership is online via your member dashboard. Just go to www.rmets.org and click on ‘Log-in’ in the top right corner of the website. (Note: If you are registering for the first time, you will need your membership number and the email address that you registered with us; please contact us if you are unsure of this).

If you wish to revise any of your requirements for journals or subscription, please contact us via email or telephone (0118 956 8500) prior to making payment.

Gift Aid declarations

For 2020 renewals we are asking all members re-declare Gift Aid to ensure our records are up to date.  Therefore, if you are eligible and wish to Gift Aid, please return a completed Gift Aid declaration or update your online account when you renew. Gift Aid really does make an important contribution to the projects we are able to finance.

We are very grateful for your continued support, which enables us to carry out our activities and programmes of work, including the support of the teaching of weather and climate in schools.

New membership benefit for 2020

Starting in January 2020 Members will also be able to access WIREs Climate Change (published in association with the Royal Geographical Society) online via the Society’s website in the same way you would view Weather.
