Committee vacancies: Help influence the work of the Society
Would you like the opportunity to have your say on the membership of the Society and help us with new and engaging campaigns? Would you like to help us shape the future of our events programme? We currently have vacancies for members to join either our Membership and Business Development Board or our Meetings and Conferences Committee.
Meetings and Conferences Committee - Member
We are potentially looking to recruit five additional Committee members to help guide and develop the delivery of high-quality events to a growing and increasingly diverse audience from across the meteorological community and other related disciplines.
The Committee meets typically three times a year to discuss the Society’s events strategy and agree on the annual programme.
Each member serves a five-year term of office, with an enthusiasm and drive for the role and responsibilities and would ideally have a strong network with contacts and industry links.

Membership and Business Development Board – Member
Typically meeting two-three times a year and serving a term of five years, we are looking for enthusiastic members to help ensure that the Society is focusing on those aspects that will grow and develop the membership base.
The work of the Board is to ensure that members are fully engaged with the work of the Society and that the Society is maximizing its opportunities to deliver its charitable objectives.
