VIRTUAL | Student and Early Career Scientists Conference 2021
LOCATION
The Royal Meteorological Society (RMetS) Virtual Student & Early Career Scientists Conference will take place on the 28th and 29th June 2021. The annual student conference provides an excellent opportunity for undergraduate students, Masters and PhD students and young scientists to present their work in a friendly environment. There were keynote speakers and poster sessions alongside sessions for oral presentations.
On Sunday 27th June, join the students for an evening social with a chance to meet your fellow delegates in advance of the conference.
On Thursday 1st July, for conference delegates only, we ran a Careers Clinic. This was a unique opportunity for those with an interest in journalism or who want to learn more about science careers outside of academia. Hear from the team at Carbon Brief about their career paths and get the opportunity to ask questions.
