The East Anglia Centre meets at the University of East Anglia six times a year. Meetings are normally held on a Monday or Wednesday evening during the UEA term-time. Meeting topics are aimed to meet the broad range of interests of the group, which includes professional meteorologists, working and retired, students, both undergraduate and graduate, and members of the general public with an interest in weather and climate related matters. If you have ideas for speakers or topics that you would be particularly interested in hearing about, feel free to share those thoughts with the chairperson.
We also appoint a UEA undergraduate student each year as a Student Promotions Officer and filling that role for the 2014-15 academic year is Thomas Bartle. Meetings are free of charge
