Britain’s biggest climate action sporting event comes to RMetS headquarters

Come and join us to support those running the relay baton as part of the Running Out of Time event.

On Friday 7th July the relay baton will change hands outside the RMetS headquarters in Reading at 9:20am.

We will be welcoming the runners, walkers and cyclists, and their supporters, as well as opening up the Society for our members and running some weather and climate activities. So, if you are in the area, please do come along and support this sporting event.

The Running Out of Time Relay aims to pass a baton along a 2,661km route from Ben Nevis to Big Ben with over 350 stages and change over points, including at the RMetS Headquarters.

The baton is already on its way as it left Ben Nevis on 10th June. You can track its progress here and if you still want to take part in the relay you can join a stage.
