Dr Matt Palmer

Dr Matt Palmer is a Science Fellow at the UK Met Office and Joint Director of the UK National Climate Science Partnership. His research interests focus on climate monitoring, sea level rise projections and using machine learning to advance climate observation datasets. Matt led the development of the latest UK national sea level projections (UKCP18) and has worked at the science-policy interface for over 10 years, with contributions to several national sea level rise assessments. Matt was a lead author on the most recent Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) Assessment Report.
