Press and Media
The Royal Meteorological Society is involved with more than 150 media enquiries each year, working closely with the media, particularly during times of extreme weather, to ensure the public are both informed and engaged with the latest weather and climate stories. The Society's work is also featured in the media, including policy reports, statement, events, competitions and journal papers.
Several members of the Royal Meteorological Society’s staff are able to talk on weather and climate issues and can be contacted for interview or to provide comment for TV, radio, in print and online reports.
We have also compiled a list of useful climate resources for journalists and media outlets.
