Work Experience Opportunities

RMetS doesn’t offer work experience directly, but you can explore opportunities with these organisations:

• Met Office information about work experience and placements.
• For students in the Cambridge area, the British Antarctic Survey sometimes offers summer placements.
• Placements are sometimes available with MetDesk.
• BP offers one year internships to students in the penultimate year of a degree in meteorology, climate science, oceanography, geography, geophysics, geology, maths, physics, earth science & environmental science which includes meteorology modules.
• Carbon Brief offer a 3-week paid internship every summer.
