Our Partnerships: Working together to raise awareness and understanding of weather and climate
As a charitable organisation, we rely on the support of our partners to enable us to engage the public, deliver our education programmes, inspire the next generation of meteorologists and support professionals working within the sector.
We partner with a range of organisations, from academic institutions, non-governmental bodies, industry groups and corporate partners. Each partnership is built around a key programme or activity which supports the Society’s mission to raise awareness of weather and climate, support meteorological professionals and inspire enthusiasts
Joining forces with leading organisations and institutions is key if we are to shape the future of the weather, climate science and climate education around the world. We're always looking for like-minded partners to support our programmes, helping to strengthen the science and invest in new opportunities. Our partners include:
pioneering and innovative corporate companies
professional organisations and funding bodies
leading supporters of science and education
charitable trusts and foundations.
We offer a range of opportunities for organisations to work with the Royal Meteorological Society. Whether we are supporting teachers to deliver inspiring lessons, driving change in the education curriculum, delivering the latest research, encouraging the professional development of meteorologists, or facilitating innovation across sectors and industries, we aim to work with our partners to address some of the major challenges facing society.
Our strong links with other scientific and educational professional bodies and academic institutions around the globe support the climate science, meteorology and weather enthusiast community with world-leading publications and journals.
We work with specialist organisation b2b partnerships Ltd to develop our strategic partnerships.
