Weather Photographer of the Year 2021 Winner

Dear friends, I am very happy to have won the Royal Meteorological Society's Weather Photographer of the Year 2021 competition.

I am a reportage photographer and in my career I have won many awards with photographs taken in distant countries.

In recent years I have visited India, Nepal, Indonesia, Vietnam, Ethiopia, Madagascar.

In each of these countries, I have taken very interesting photographs.

But this photo of the morning mists, taken a few kilometres from my house, is special for me.

The satisfaction of winning a big prize with this photo is double.
