Its formation started in the end of August, when a a strong low air pressure system formed over Western Africa passing westwards. In the Spotlight From -30 C to + 30 C within one day 07 June 2018 Everybody knows that while there is winter in the northern hemisphere, it remains warm near sea level in the tropics. I have always been aware of this – but experiencing this climate difference within one day was truly fascinating.
