The Royal Meteorological Society’s National Meeting and AGM 2024
LOCATION
HMS Belfast
The Queens Walk
London SE1 2JH
The Royal Meteorological Society plays a key role in supporting the science and the profession of meteorology. This meeting will celebrate a number of important anniversaries: the 30th anniversary of the Met Apps journal and Chartered Meteorologist (CMet) professional accreditation scheme, both launched in 1994, and the 10th anniversary of the Registered Meteorologist (RMet) scheme and the ACCSYS online CPD tool, both launched in 2014.
This meeting offers an opportunity to celebrate both ‘meteorology’ and ‘meteorologists’.
The Society’s Annual Awards will also be presented during the afternoon, so join us as we commend our science and profession. The Society’s AGM will take place during the afternoon and the event will be followed by a drink's reception.
