ABSTRACT | Satellite Earth observation has revolutionised our understanding of the planet. Three researchers from the University of Leeds School of Earth and Environment will be talking about how they use data from satellites in their work. From studying the remote and inaccessible Polar regions, to observing sources and changes in UK air quality, to monitoring crops, this talk will show the diverse range of applications of satellites for studying our planet from space.
Light refreshments from 6.30pm, meeting starts at 7.00pm.
