Scientists with their groundbreaking research, journalists informing the public about the devastating effects of climate change and activists leading campaigns to prevent exploitation of our beautiful planet have made outstanding contributions to meteorology and climate change.
We want to celebrate the achievements of these influential voices who, through their relentless commitment to meteorology and climate, are role models in their field and an inspiration for everyone. The Royal Meteorological Society will host at ECMWF an afternoon dedicated to outstanding voices in meteorology and climate. It will also be an occasion to celebrate International Women’s day and women’s contribution to both areas.
