The Royal Meteorological Society special interest group on meteorological observing systems mini conference will take place in hybrid format at the University of Reading on the 12th of September.
This event provides an excellent opportunity for amateur and professional meteorologists to present about meteorological instruments in a friendly environment. There will be keynote speakers (Graeme Marlton will present on the new Met Office lightning detection network and Phil Rosenberg will present about the WESCON field campaign and instrumentation) and posters alongside a series of oral presentations.
It is not expected that everyone will give a presentation as some people may just want to attend to listen.
Registration is free and can be done via the link below and this is also where people can indicate if they wish to present and can enter the title of their presentation.
Meeting room: 1L61
