ABSTRACT| A journey around the Svalbard islands in July 2019 on a small expedition boat. There were good opportunities to view the varied wild-life and to see the effects of considerable climate warming in recent years. It included a visit to the edge of the Arctic ice-cap at around 81.30 N.
