ABSTRACT: Two scientists describe their adventures at Earth’s extremities. Dr Ryan Neely went UP to the top of the Greenland Ice Sheet to fires lasers UP into the sky to study clouds whilst Dr Anna Hogg travelled DOWN to Western Antarctica and used a ground penetrating radar to investigate one of the fastest glaciers in the world.
