A vacancy has arisen for a Head of Partnerships at the Royal Meteorological Society.  The salary is £49,000 to 55,000 depending on experience.  The role is full-time and based in Reading.

Do you have extensive experience of building strategic partnerships, with a demonstrable track record of success? Do you also have demonstrable experience of effective interpersonal communication and relationship-building, with gravitas and credibility to manage stakeholders at all levels both internally and externally?  Have you used project management; to plan and prioritise activities, manage risks, set budgets, time manage and allocate resources?  If yes, then this role could be for you.

The Head of Partnerships has a key role to play in supporting the development of a coherent strategic programme and in developing and maintaining strong strategic partnerships to support the delivery of societal benefits. The Society believes that the benefits of its programmes of work can be maximised if they are designed and delivered in conjunction with strategic partners whose values and aims are aligned. The role is therefore responsible for providing strategic direction, leadership and management to identify and develop strong, mutually beneficial partnerships, which includes maximising sustainable income streams that underpin the Society’s programmes of work.
